The U16 netball team competed in the County Netball tournament at The King's School, Rochester on the 1st October, delivering a strong standard of play throughout the day. In the first pool, the team were up against local rivals Bennett Memorial Diocesan School, Tonbridge Grammar School and Walthamstow Hall. Despite a disrupted start, the team regrouped with excellent composure. They dominated their opening fixture against Bennett (9-1), before pushing both TGS and Walthamstow Hall to the limit in two narrow, hard-fought losses. Progressing into the second stage, the team played formidably against Bromley High, securing a 16-7 win. They then faced Sevenoaks School and Invicta Grammar School. Although those matches ultimately slipped away, the team still performed exceptionally. Throughout the tournament, the quality of play, teamwork and quick strategic adjustments under pressure were phenomenal. A massive well done to all the players involved! Mrs Haskett
