Temporary Teacher of Drama (and English) - Curriculum Leader Post Available

Required for January 2024, an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher of Drama and English to teach bright, well-motivated pupils across the 11 – 18 age range, including preferably Drama to GCSE and if possible  A Level. TWGGS is an outstandingly successful and oversubscribed selective school, and the Drama Department is well-established and supportive with excellent facilities. The school provides excellent induction for a newly qualified teacher, but would also offer an experienced teacher rewarding opportunities in and out of the classroom.

Cover Supervisor

This successful school wishes to appoint, an efficient, committed Cover Supervisor to supervise classes during teachers’ absence. This position is 35 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), 0.8172 fte. Salary is Kent Range 5 (£22,595 - £23,693), pro-rata £18,464 - £19362.

TEACHER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AT TWGGS

We are always interested to hear from people from all backgrounds who are looking to enter the education profession. TWGGS is a diverse and inclusive school and we aim to train and recruit individuals who add value to our pupils and who share our vision and ethos. People interested in training to teach will need to have a relevant degree at 2:2 level or higher. TWGGS have filled all available training places for the 2023-24 academic year, but please do get in touch if you are interested in training from September 2024. You can also get in touch with our training provider, Kent and Medway Training (www.kmtraining.org.uk), to explore training opportunities at other local schools.
