Key Stage 3: Years 7 - 9

In Years 7 to 9, pupils are taught a variety of subjects, as well as Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE):

  • Art
  • Computing
  • Design Technology (comprising Food Technology, Resistant Materials, Textiles and Graphic Products)
  • Drama
  • English Language and Literature
  • Geography
  • History
  • Mathematics
  • Modern Foreign Languages (MFL): Pupils will study two languages from French, German and Spanish throughout Key Stage 3
  • Music
  • Physical Education
  • Religious Studies
  • Science

Pupils are taught in their form groups during Year 7; in Year 8 there are broad ability groupings in Mathematics, which are reorganised in Year 9 based on Key Stage 3 performance.
