Congratulations to our Year 11 Public Speaking Team (Grace K - Speaker, Olivia D - Chair, Emi G-P - Questioner) for their excellent performance at Mayfield School last week. Grace K delivered a powerful and carefully research speech on the topic, 'Should Social Media be banned for under 18s?', while Olivia D and Emi G-P worked together as the Chair and Questioner for Chailey School's presentation on the topic, 'There is no such thing as a new idea'. Receiving feedback from the judge at the end of the event, our TWGGS team was praised for their authentic and supportive participation in the competition and for the warmth and confidence they each displayed in their roles.

The team was one of only two teams from Round Two who are now through to the Regional Finals of the competition, due to take place in March. We wish them every success!
