Out of an astonishing 18,000 nominations, our very own Kirsty W, 7Y, has won the Rising Star Award in the 2025 JustGiving Awards for her fundraising for Children with Cancer UK. Kirsty received her award during one of her chemotherapy sessions from Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash who, in a surprise visit, spent time with Kirsty, chatting and crafting! Kirsty is crocheting one bunting triangle for each week of her chemotherapy treatment, raising over £101,000 so far to help other children with cancer. Kirsty says, 'During my treatment, I aim to raise as much money as I can for children's cancer charities.
