It was fantastic to see so many pupils taking part in this year’s Skinners’ Cross-Country races. TWGGS entered two events: the U13 Girls’ 2.2km race and the U15 Girls’ 2.8km race, both of which challenged runners with varied terrain that tested balance, stamina, and determination. Every pupil who competed showed outstanding effort and resilience, and we are extremely proud of the whole squad. Whether chasing a top position, achieving a personal best, or simply battling through a tough course, each runner made a valuable contribution and represented TWGGS brilliantly. A special mention goes to Laura W and Evie J, who finished 7th (9:39) and 10th (10:17) respectively in the U13 race against a large field of competitors. In the U15 race, Tabitha H and Maelys C-G also impressed, coming 8th (13:17) and 9th (13:21) in a highly competitive race.

Congratulations as well to the U13 A team (Laura W, Evie J, Mila P, Nicole D, Lily E and Sophie S) who secured an excellent second place overall as the top six Year 7 and 8 runners for TWGGS.

Finally, a special thank you goes to the rest of the squad, whose determination, team spirit, and commitment were just as important in making the day such a success.
