Another win! Lilia, Year 7, had this to report:

On Friday, 13th June, the TWGGS football team participated in the U12 girls' football final, which took place at Tonbridge Angels Stadium from 3:30 until 5:00pm. We were accompanied by Mrs Scovell and Miss Withers (who we are very grateful for running the lines), and we also appreciate Mrs Scovell joining us every fortnight on the Wednesday tournament stages at St.Gregory's School.

We played Tonbridge Grammar School in the final and, as mentioned in their programme comment, they hadn’t beaten us yet so we were full of determination and were fired up for the match. The game was a hard fought battle between two amazing teams, and yet, we came out victorious! The final score was 3-1 to TWGGS with three fabulous scorers from our side: Lilia, Nicole, and Elina. A final thank you to all the teachers who were there to support us and we hope we can strive to do it again next year.
