A packed hall were treated to an evening of musical delights from musicians in Years 7, 8 and 9 at the TWGGS Junior Concert last week. An enthusiastic audience braved the deluge to enjoy a varied and highly entertaining programme.
From the orchestral performance of We Don't Talk About Bruno from Lin Manuel Miranda's 'Encanto', to the Jazz Band's Take the A Train and the Junior Strings' rendition of Rondo from Abdelazer by Henry Purcell, every musical taste was catered for. A wealth of soloists delivered accomplished performances with enthusiasm and it was wonderful to see our new Year 7 singers participating fully in the thriving musical life at TWGGS.
Huge thanks go to Miss Johnson for organising and producing the event, and also to Mrs Waddington, Mr Bloor, Madame Salci, Mr Quinn and Mr Bicknell for all their work and support.
