We say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to our German Conversation Assistant, Ms Newberry. Since joining us in September 2024, she has been an invaluable asset to the Modern Foreign Languages department, providing dedicated support to our Key Stage 4 and A Level German pupils. Her tailored speaking practice, warmth, and encouragement have built immense confidence in our pupils, helping them prepare for their speaking examinations and develop a genuine love for the German language. She will be greatly missed by staff and pupils alike.
With Ms Newberry's departure, we are now seeking a passionate German Conversation Assistant to join our dynamic MFL department. The role is two days per week, term time only. Key responsibilities are working alongside our German teaching staff to deliver small-group and 1-to-1 conversation practice for GCSE (Key Stage 4) and A Level pupils, helping them develop fluency and exam readiness.
