Sparkle O, 7Y, Millie F, 7B, Lily E, 7B, Bella W, 7Y, Gwen F, 7G, Ivy D, 7Y and Ellie R, 7G played for Langton Green on Sunday in the final of the Kent Girls and Ladies League U12 cup at the University of Kent in Canterbury. This was the culmination of a cup run in which they won four games against teams across Kent, including a semi-final defeat of Sevenoaks.
They played a strong Bromley team in the final. Sparkle assisted for a goal with an excellent long range shot, Lily hit the bar and Ellie saved a penalty. The girls ended up losing 3-1. They played really well and collected their runner-up medals with smiles on their faces!
