On Tuesday, 11th November, 20 Upper Sixth pupils joined 10 TWGGS staff to take part in this year’s Joint Schools Mock Interview Event at Skinners’ School. For TWGGS’ candidates applying for Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine courses, as well as those applying to study a broad range of disciplines at Oxford and Cambridge, this was an opportunity to meet with fellow applicants from Skinners', Mayfield, Tonbridge Grammar School, Radnor House and Skinners' Kent Academy to experience a practice interview with subject specialists in their chosen fields. A total of 160 separate interviews took place during the annual event, with candidates impressing staff with their depth of knowledge, super curricular engagement, work experience placements and academic passion. As always, we wish all of our Upper Sixth every success as they approach the next stage in their application process for university places and highly competitive degree level apprenticeships.
