Beginning on Sunday 6th July, the majority of our Year 10 pupils completed their qualifying expedition for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award. We are very grateful to Mrs Brown for running the very popular scheme for our pupils; Mrs Brown commented, "Our pupils really are a super lot, displaying their 3C's (Community, Challenge, Character) in abundance over an epic few days in the New Forest, with 93 participants passing their expedition section of their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award.  We've had bright sunshine and horizontal rain, blisters, ice creams (at the very end) and a LOT of fab wildlife. The external assessors had lots of praise for their resilience and 'can do' attitude. We're very proud of their amazing achievements."
