During the week 2nd-6th June, Year 9 took part in a camping expedition to Deers Leap Park near East Grinstead, with each half of the year group sleeping under canvass for two nights.
Students took part in a wide range of activities including; archery, paddle boarding, rock scrambling and axe throwing.
On the last evening, brave volunteers entertained us all with songs, jokes and ghost stories around the campfire and we enjoyed toasting marshmallows.
In spite of the unseasonal wet weather and lack of sleep for some, everyone seemed to benefit from the experience.
