Our Headteachers

After 23 years as Headteacher, from September 2022, Mrs Wybar has the new role of Executive Headteacher on a part-time basis. Mrs Marchant is the new full time Associate Headteacher. For a period of two years, the Executive Headteacher will retain overall strategic and statutory responsibility for the school and will support and advise the Associate Headteacher in the delivery of her role.  At the end of the period of development and support, the Associate Headteacher will step into the substantive Headteacher post and Mrs Wybar will retire.  

Prior to joining the TWGGS community in September 2019, Mrs Marchant worked in two London comprehensive schools; she has extensive senior leadership experience and was, for the seven years prior to her joining TWGGS, the Lead Assistant Headteacher, Director of Teaching School, in a 16 Catholic secondary schools’ collaboration across East London, Essex, Southend and Southwark (a role equivalent to a Deputy Headteacher). Both Mrs Marchant and Mrs Wybar are excited about the opportunities these new roles provide.
