Our Year 8 pupils had a culture-filled Language Enrichment Day with a vibrant mix of linguistic and cultural activities. Throughout the day, pupils explored languages in incredibly creative ways, from getting artistic with French Art to creative during their German Drama. They also got into the rhythm with Spanish music and got competitive with Spanish or German handball. For many, a highlight was sampling the ab initio sessions, which gave them a fantastic introduction to the basics of Japanese, Russian, or Polish. At lunchtime, pupils were invited to complete a Treasure Hunt, where teams sprinted around the school tracking down hidden clues and cracking secret codes to win an online Escape Room experience. We would like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsor, Clue Cracker, for once again generously providing the prize for the winning team! It was a fantastic day that truly celebrated diversity, teamwork, and the joy of learning languages.
