Sport

At TWGGS, we have a strong ‘sport for all’ ethos and all girls are encouraged to attend clubs, whatever their level of ability. Our programme ranges from recreational participation, emphasising the enjoyment and well-being that can be gained from playing sports, to sports team training and inter-school matches.

We have an established tradition of competitive sport and regularly compete at district and county level, and also arrange inter-form competitions to fully engage all pupils in competition.  We also organise an Evening of Dance to showcase pupils’ work that they have achieved in extra-curricular clubs and lessons.
