We are sure that you will appreciate that there is a huge workload in establishing teacher grades for public examinations this year. In order to give staff additional time to moderate work and make decisions on GCSE and A level grades, we will be finishing school early on the following days and times:

Thursday13^th May – pupils will be taught lessons 1, 2 and 3 and have lunch followed by a short registration. Pupils may then leave at the following times:

1.00pm - 6^th form

1.10pm - Years 9, 10 and 11

1.15pm - Years 7 and 8

Thursday 20^th May – pupils will be taught lessons 1, 2, 3 and 4 and then will leave school at:

2.10pm - Years 9, 10 and 11

2.30pm - Years 7, 8 and 6th form.

We apologise for any inconvenience. If your child needs to stay in school until the end of the school day, we will make provision for them to be supervised; if you require this, please email admin@twggs.kent.sch.uk as soon as possible, and by Friday 30^th April at the latest, so that we can arrange staffing supervision. Please give your child’s name and form group, and state whether this is required on both dates, or on one specific date.
