When pupils join TWGGS at Key Stage 3, we offer them a broad and varied curriculum.
A wide range of teaching styles and approaches is employed to ensure that all pupils receive a rich academic diet. They are encouraged actively to learn as well as being taught, asking them to ‘give their best’ from the outset. Every effort is made to ensure the TWGGS curriculum meets the needs of bright pupils in today’s society.
In Years 7 to 9, pupils are taught a variety of subjects, as well as Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE):
Pupils are taught in their form groups during Year 7; in Year 8 there are broad ability groupings in Mathematics, which are reorganised in Year 9 based on Key Stage 3 performance.
