On a recent Year 9 History trip to the World War I memorial sites, TWGGS pupils paid their respects to fallen soldiers of the First World War. Daisy and Holly laid wreaths on behalf of the school and the TWGGS CCF unit at the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate.
Pupils and staff had a very full day trip, visiting Tyne Cott Cemetery, Langemark German Cemetery, Sanctuary Wood Museum and Trenches, and In Flanders Field Museum in Ypres.
